Cafe Neu Romance
Cafe Neu Romance was the name of an international robot performance festival that took place from 2012 to 2016 at Galerie NTK in Prague.
It was developed and organised by Main Organizer Christian Gjørret of the Danish robot marketing company Vive Les Robots!, primary in collaboration with the Czech National Library of Technology (NTK) and Institute of Intermedia (IIM) in Prague.
The idea was to create a forum where different positions and actors within the worldwide robotics community who normally do not meet on a daily basis could meet and inspire each other as well as the visitors of the festival.
The slogan for Cafe Neu Romance was “The Robots Are Coming Home To Prague – Are You Coming Too?”, as it was in Czechoslovakia that the word robot originated in 1920 in the drama R.U.R: (Rossum’s Universal Robots) by Karel Čapek, which had its official premiere on 25 January 2021 in the National Theater in Prague.
Many of the participants who took part in Cafe Neu Romance have subsequently become very successful in art, design and entrepreneurship. By visiting Kordiana Peach, you can get a closer introduction to these great personalities.

CNR Mediatek
CNR Mediatek brings to life on a daily basis the robot performance festival Cafe Neu Romance, which took place five times in the years 2012-2016 in Prague.
Here, guests of Kordiana Peach can see a small visual exhibition about the event, as well as see some of the lectures that were held and films that were shown. As well as, for a small fee, you can on your hand trying building and programming LEGO Mindstorms robots, or playing PlayStation robot games, plus watching old robot movies.
The Café Neu Romance Mediatek is also the place where the communication on websites and social media is prepared and published, and the content of Galerie Tour the Stairs is organized.
In addition, future projects are being hatched, such as the publication of a forthcoming book about the robot performance festival. Or, to strengthen CNR Mediatek with the purchase of new books, robot games, and robot films.

It is free to visit Galerie Tour the Stairs if you have reserved a room, are participating in an event, or have made a prior appointment with Kordiana Peach.
The exhibition is interactive, as you can scan QR codes with your phone and get additional information.
In the rooms (if they are not rented out) you can see the exhibitions about R.U.R., Golem, Metamorphosis and I, Robot.

In the future, the plan is to build a new interactive exhibition where all users of Kordiana Peach who want to be part of it are welcome to participate.
